The FAQ

Do you Travel?

I'm willing to travel for a session as long as I can drive there because I don't like flying.

How long have you been doing this?

I have been doing this for 5 years. I've been in love with photography since I was a kid when I got my first camera which was a polaroid. Needless to say the technology has improved over the years and so I combined my love for the art of the pin up and photography together to bring you Arrey Boudoir.

How many photos do you take?

Approximately 100-500 images depending on how long of a session you booked, with about 50-250 final images for viewing.

How do we get our photos?

We provide a link to your password protected online gallery and instructions on how to download your album as an app on your phone so you can easily download them to your devices. Our images are sold a la carte, or as part of a package.

Do you retouch photos?

Yes, using Adobe Lightroom. I remove imperfections, enhance colors, shadows and highlights and add presets like black and white etc. I do all the editing myself that's one of my favorite parts of being a photographer! I get to admire the art we created together and showing you the final images is the grand finale! I absolutely can't wait to show you the images just as much as you can't wait to see them!

Whats your turn around time?

Your photo session comes with a same day image reveal. Depending on what type of package you purchased, or if you selected an a la carte session, this is when you get to handpick the images you would like me to process for you! This is the hardest part! You might think 10 images is enough but I can tell you it won't be, and that's why I offer customized interest-free payment plans!

How do we book you?

You start by sending us an inquiry and we schedule a mandatory phone consultation. We need to make sure we are the right boudoir experience for you! After the phone consultation is when we will email you a contract and invoice for the $100 non refundable retainer that holds the date on our calendar.

Can you help us with planning?

Yes! Absolutely! This is actually included in your session! After you pay your retainer is when the planning actually begins!

How far out do you book?

Due to the nature of running a boutique style studio, we only book 2-3 months at a time, and we use a waitlist system. Our sessions are limited so that your experience is the best! We will never make you feel rushed because we only book 1 session per day by appointment only. We want to make sure you have our full attention from the moment you book until the moment you leave your reveal appointment!

do you book couples?

To be honest, we haven't yet but if you are willing to be models maybe we will start doing couple sessions :)

What should we wear?

Wardrobe planning is part of your session! After your initial booking is when we will start the process of figuring out your comfort level, your vision on how you see yourself, and putting it together for a customized experience.

Will you share my images?

Only if you want us to. We only share images when given written permission to do so. If you want to remain anonymous but still want us to share, we can do that too.

How old do you have to be for a photo session??

Due to the intimate and suggestive nature of boudoir photography you must be at least 18 years old.

I have never done this before, any tips?

Just relax. Don't worry if you have never been in the front of a camera like this before. We will pose and guide you every step of the way and make you feel comfortable. We know this can be intimidating and you are probably anxious, that's completely normal! Everyone that has done a session has felt the same way! You will see how much you can do this just like anyone!

A boudoir session can be exhausting for you with all the posing, and changing outfits so make sure and get a good nights sleep and you are well hydrated the day before so that you are your best self!

Avoid spray tanning at least 1-2 weeks before. Avoid wearing tight fitting clothes the day of, and, also try not wearing a bra the night before. Wear socks until it's time for session time so you have clean feet. If you booked hair and makeup, Make sure your hair is dry (washed night before), and your face is clean with only moisturizer. Don't forget about your fingers and toes!

How long will this take?

Depending on the type of session you booked, you can expect to be at the studio approximately 1.5-6 hours. We start in the morning around 8-9:00am, and we are done by about 10:00am-2:00pm. If you book hair & makeup, we start as early as 6:30am which can take 2.5-3 hours. This is why we have snacks, water, fruit and pastries so you have the energy to keep going it's exhausting being a supermodel!
